Funding community health in Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix, Ashland Community Health Foundation sought a modern and accessible new site, one brimming with best practices and fresh photography.
Challenge
A whole new look! In the winter of 2021, ACHF’s talented designer David Hess created a vivid new logo that was a vast departure from the blues and greens of past branding. With this new look, ACHF sought a new website — one that would show their 40+ year roots in Ashland, and also convey their broader focus on community health.

Approach
Inspired by San Francisco General Hospital Foundation’s bold, mobile-first design, our web designer artfully created layouts with the perfect combo of fresh fonts, bold text, compelling photos, and color blocks. Our graphic designer created modern icons and infographics. Real photos were key in communicating the local nature of the foundation — it’s truly all about the community! They worked with C Matteo for custom photos of the board, staff, and community members, and Sean Bagshaw’s stunning nature images are woven throughout.

At every turn, you’ll feel how this foundation is dedicated to improving our community’s health and wellness.
Gratitude
The staff at ACHF is an exemplary group. Their commitment to community health and the ways in which they engage with their donors, board, and community partners is second-to-none. While working on the website, one of their beloved donors sadly passed away, leaving behind a small dog with no home. Stephanie, their Associate Director, swooped in to give this little blind dog a happy home. This is an organization with heart. We are thrilled to know this new website will invite engagement and support for years to come.
