Sampson Creek Preserve

The Sampson Creek Preserve encompasses nearly 4,800 acres of undeveloped grasslands, woodlands and forests by Emigrant Lake in Southern Oregon. Ruby Slipper created the branding, signage, and website for this Preserve and its sister, Grizzly Peak.

There are two new nature preserves in Southern Oregon! Sampson Creek Preserve and Grizzly Peak Preserve, both very close to Ashland, Oregon.

The Sampson Creek Preserve encompasses nearly 4,800 acres of undeveloped grasslands, woodlands and forests in the Sampson, Cattle and Soda Creek watersheds, of Jackson County, Oregon.

Visit the website to learn about the lands and their unique features and creatures, to read the botanical and wildlife research studies that have been underway, and to see beautiful photos of these open spaces.

Special thanks to the Executive Director, Maia Black, who thoughtfully guides the preservation of this land. And gratitude to Christopher Cochran, the gifted programmer who helped bring this custom WordPress theme to life.
