Asante Foundation

The Asante Foundation hired Ruby Slipper to implement a brand new website featuring their ongoing philanthropic initiatives and new $50 million AsanteForward fundraising campaign.

CHALLENGE

In 2019, Asante Foundation, the fundraising arm for the Asante Health System, embarked on its most comprehensive campaign in history — to raise $50 million dollars over the next decade and significantly improve health in Southern Oregon. However, they did not have their own dedicated website, and needed one to  showcase their new and long-standing initiatives and engage donors.

APPROACH

Ruby Slipper began working with Asante Foundation Director of Development, Andrea Reeder and branding / writing specialist Maria Nicklin, to bring this comprehensive website to fruition. Our challenge was to craft a site loaded with content, yet create it in a manner that made it feel light and approachable.

RESULTS

The site launched July 2019 under the keen eye of their new Marketing & Communications Director, Desirae MacGillivray Myers. It feature the new initiatives (Cancer and Behavioral Health Centers, Emergency Dept. Expansion in Grants Pass, a Patient Tower in Medford which will house a Women’s & Children’s Pediatric Center, Cardiac Center, Critical Care Unit, and Advanced Surgical Services), the ongoing ones (Spears Cancer Center, Children’s Miracle Network, and more), shows multiple ways to get involved, and prominently features the Asante Foundation flagship fundraising event — The Oregon Wine Experience.

Asante Foundation in Medford Oregon

Ruby Slipper Designs took the Asante Foundation website to an entire new level. We are thrilled with Erin’s work—from beginning to end, she listened to our team and our goals, and made them a reality. She made a website that was inviting, matched our branding concepts and a place for us to tell patient and donor stories. Our community has already used this as a resource and we have exceeded the number of page views our old website received in 2018, and it’s only September (the new website launched in July!).

Ruby Slipper Designs was so patient with our myriad of edits as it went through approval processes. They proved that nothing was impossible—they always found a solution.

Lastly, Erin and her team are wonderful to work with. Erin’s warm and supporting demeanor makes the process fun and approachable. We’re grateful for Ruby Slipper Designs and the platform its set forth for our Foundation’s Capital Campaign. Thank you!
