About the Awards
The Indigo Design Award celebrates exceptional artistic projects from around the globe. Projects are judged by a jury and handpicked for their innovative contributions to the digital design world. Categories include Graphic Design, Digital Design, Branding, Mobile Design, and Design for Social Change (where we won Bronze and Silver!). We’re star-struck by the jury lineup, with design leaders from Google, IBM, Duolingo, GitHub, Microsoft, Sony Bend Studio, and LEGO (just to name a few of the 50+), choosing from a slate of international submissions.
The Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world, and winners range in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies! The list of Hermes award categories is massive and runs the gamut of marketing and web materials: brochures, ads, website landing pages, postcards, e-newsletters, corporate videos and so much more. The judging process takes about eight weeks — working eight hours a day! — to review all the work that is submitted in each competition. We’re honored to have stood out among the huge list of international entries!
The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition spotlights the role of creatives in the dynamic, constantly evolving web. The dotCOMM Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the largest, oldest and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry.
The w3 Awards is sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only body consisting of leading digital marketing and creative experts and all-around luminaries. All entries for the w3 Awards have been evaluated by a prestigious global panel of industry-leading professionals. Being honored with a w3 Award is a remarkable accomplishment and testament to breakthrough work. Less than 10% of all entries are selected as Gold Winners, so we are elated to have two Ruby Slipper sites awarded Gold in 2023!
The Davey Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for the “Davids” of creativity. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small agencies do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. The Davey is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms. Ruby Slipper is honored to take home four Davey’s of our very own in 2023!
